RPGTV Splash Screen

Myanmar Sample Splash Screens

In RPGTV 2024, there are two designated Splash Screen versions: A and B. The “Show Splash Screen” checkbox in the Edit Skin configuration manages the visibility of both versions.

Note: If the checkbox is unchecked, no Splash Screen will be displayed, and the first node will be shown when the tour has loaded.

Splash Screen Version A

When Splash Screen Version A (uncheck = B): is checked then Version A of the Splash Screen will be displayed when the tour has loaded.

Note: Setting the attributes below will result in the following Splash Screen being displayed

iPad Pro (12.9-inch) (4th Gen)

Note: If the Splash Screen needs to be minimal, checking the Splash Button Minimal checkbox will hide all elements except the actual Splash Button text.

Splash Screen Version B

When Splash Screen Version A (uncheck = B): is unchecked then Version B of the Splash Screen will be displayed when the tour has loaded.

Note: Splash Screen Version B is similar to Version A. The Title and Description sit higher in the screen and there is the option to add either a floating image or a fullscreen image.

Version B1:

Note: Setting the Splash Screen attributes, as shown below, will result in the Splash Screen Version B1 being displayed.

iPhone 11 Pro

iPad Pro (12.9-inch) (4th Gen)

Note: As you can see it’s very similar to the Version A

Version B2: Floating Image

Note: Splash Screen Version B2 is quite different to Version B1 with the addition of a floating image.

Note: Overlaying the Splash Title and Splash Description within the floating images requires a different approach. To overcome the Z-Index properties of the “Draw External Image” elements we need to add the text to the first node User Data Title and Description fields as shown in the image below.

Setting the User Data Title and Description fields for the image text overlay

Note: Setting the Edit Skin configuration attributes as shown below will result in the Splash Screen Version B2: Floating Image being displayed.

Note: To accomodate the mobile screen the Splash Screen settings has the option to add a Version B Mobile image (usually square) of the Version B Image.

Note: in this version the Splash Filter Tint color has been set to White with an Alpha (125) to lighten the background and make the floating image more dominant.

Version B3: Fullscreen Image

Note: Splash Screen Version B3 is the same as Version B1 with the difference that it displays a fullscreen image.

The fullscreen image scales to match the viewport size without distortion. This may lead to cropping of the image as shown on the mobile version.

Note: The image entered in the Splash Version B image field is shown fullscreen by checking the Splash Version B Image Fullscreen checkbox. Setting the Edit Skin configuration attributes as shown below will result in the Splash Screen Version B3: Fullscreen Image
