In Memoriam: Charlotte Green passed away on the 16th of February 2022. “She lived the life that she wanted — a full, satisfying life,” said her daughter. “Always a teacher of life, Charlotte gave us all the profound gift of witnessing a human life transitioning to the spirit realm. It was amazing! She was so graceful and honored Mother Earth and the Butterfly as God to her.”
I've been making an effort to go back through my libraries and put together as many as I can and on my way back from New York last year I stayed with a dear friend of mine Karen Blackmore at her fabulous place in Malibu. I only had a day before flying back but Karen offered to take me up to see where she creates her wonderful pottery at the Canyon Pottery Malibu. It's about half an hour up the coast and is run by the Master Potter Charlotte Green. Charlotte and Karen gave me a tour of the pottery and I shot a couple of panoramas while I was there, here's a look inside the main studio.
I was lucky enough to come home with a piece of Karen's pottery and I'll post a picture of it as soon as the house is finished and we can unpack everything. In the meantime here is a picture of her work. (my piece is one of the lovely little cups near the large blue plate)
