On the second day of my recent journey through East Java we visited the temple compound Candi Prambanan. The temple is a 9th-century Hindu temple in Central Java, Indonesia, near Yogyakarta and is dedicated to the Trimurti, the expression of God as the Creator, the Preserver and the Destroyer.
The temple suffered significant damage during the 2006 Java earthquake but reopened shortly afterward but with many of the temple interiors closed to visitors. It's a very popular temple and hard to find a quiet spot to shoot.
