Base Project
Note: This tutorial has been tested on Pano2VR Version 7.1.9
Normally, you would start a new Virtual Tour by generating a new Pano2VR project.
However, the RPGTV2025 Project contains many Custom Properties used to create highly customised Hotspots and other UI elements, along with skin variables that manage many of the project's features.
To take advantage of the RPGTV2024 features, a new Virtual Tour Project must be started by opening a “Base” Pano2VR project.
In this post, we will start with the *BASE_EN.(p2vr) (English) project file, create an output and review it,
After that, we will open the *BASE_DEMO_EN.(p2vr) project file, create an output and review the demonstration nodes.
Finally, we will add the nodes from the *BASE_DEMO_EN.(p2vr) project file containing the demonstration Hotspot Popups into the *BASE_EN.(p2vr) project file.
The updated *BASE_EN.(p2vr) file will be used to create a CLEAN_START.(p2vr) file that will become the basis of our first set of tutorials.

BASE_EN File/s
In the **BASE folder, open the *BASE_EN.(p2vr) file.
Note: You may need to relink to files and folders.
Output the project.
Note: You will see a loading animation, and the first node will appear. There is a welcome hotspot that opens an information popup.
Save the project and close the project
Open the *BASE_DEMO_EN.(p2vr) file
Note: You may need to relink to files and folders. This project contains 4 nodes with Hotspot Popup demonstrations: Galleries, 360, Linked Video, Info, Web & Pin, Audio and Custom Images.
Output the project.
You will see a loading animation, and the first node will appear.
The first node, “Galleries”, contains hotspots that open Responsive, Square, Landscape and Portrait Galleries.
The second node, “360, Linked Video, Info, Web & Pin”, contains hotspots that open 360˚ Video Popups, Videos from local, YouTube, and Vimeo sources, Websites, and Mouse-over Pins.
The third node, “Audio”, contains hotspots that have Audio Enabled and either show a seekbar or animated overlay.
The fourth node, “Custom Images”, has some examples of Custom Images and Hotspot Icons.
Save and close the project.
ADD THE DEMO PROJECT
Note: This example shows how to add an existing Pano2VR project to the Base project.

Note: This will add the nodes and associated List View elements from the EN-DEMO project into the EN project.
Note: The next step will be to remove the second “Loading” node and replace the “Number 1” node.
Delete the second loading node in the Tour Browser by right-clicking on it and selecting “Remove Panorama from Tour”. When you see the warning message, click “Yes.”
Select the “Number 1” node in the Tour Browser.
Select the Properties - Panorama button.
In the Input > File: click on the blue folder icon.
From the *ASSETS_CLEAN_START > Panoramas folder, select “Street Food.jpg” and click Open.
